One Saxon Foot Battery 1810 - 1813
Four Gun Sections ( 3 x 6-pounder cannon's and 1 x 8-pounder howitzers) Each gun section (gun models/crews) mounted on 60mm x 80mm bases.
I agree with you painting/working on 28mm figures is a change for me. I think it may take me another year painting 28's to get to my 15mm level of painting style (more detail etc) and eye - candy appeal :o)
my flocking on the gun section bases are of moderate quality :o)
Elite miniatures are another fine manufacture of military miniatures but it also takes fine paint work to bring them to their full potential, which I can see you have achieved. Great work Phil.
Elite Miniatures and perhaps in a way, Old Glory 28's, are tough (difficult) figures to paint.. I actually receive a few emails from fellow bloggers, asking me to stop painting the figures mention above :o) and start collecting and paint 28mm Front Rank or Perry Miniatures....anyway..thanks again! cheers,
